Deciding to start your own business can be very overwhelming. I know it has been for me. The most difficult thing for me is deciding what to do next. There are so many ways to promote your business in today's Internet savvy world, but how do you really get the attention of those who are looking for you? I first started with a blog, still haven't got the hang of that yet. Then I started working on my website www.jenniferbyrdevents.com, which has actually become a little hobby of mine. It is not perfect by no means but it is definitely a work in progress, and I think it has turned out very appealing. Now I am working on getting my new business cards out to potential business vendors, and creating a bi-weekly news letter for the contacts I have now.
Another plan of mine is creating an organizer for my brides. One that will have a place for everything from invitation addresses, to the shoe sizes of the groomsmen. It is going to be fun getting all of this info together.
Now that I have written this post, I guess I do have it a little together or at least I can say that I have a plan anyway.

Humpday ;-)
So as far as my spring cleaning..... I did start last night. I started in my 3 year old daughter's room. I purged the toy box, boy was that fun! I found everything in there from dirty socks to kitchen spoons. I will not go this long again before I go through that dreaded toy box! I also started in her closet, which really does not have much of her clothes in it, it has my off season clothes and things like bridesmaid dresses and ski jackets. I guess I will continue in her room tonight. I still have a long way to go in there. I might have my spring cleaning done by the end of the spring. LOL!!

Tuesdays
Tuesdays are usually a rest day for the family. Recouping from Monday! Today will be very busy. I picked today to be the start of our spring cleaning. Wouldn't you know that we also have softball practice today at 7:30. So by the time I go to the gym and pick up some takeout it will time to go to practice. Our practices usually last an hour, so by the time we get home it will be bath time for the girls. I guess I will have to start late tonight on my spring cleaning. I have found several helpful checklists and websites to help me get a jump start on my organizing and cleaning. Here are just a few!
